One air bubble about 5mm under meniscus (FAQ)

Symptom :

One air bubble about 5mm under meniscus.

Hint :

  1. If just one air bubble is found about 5mm below the meniscus
    • The fill speed may be too fast. Normal speed is 2-3 sec. from pinch valve to fill stop sensor. The column should not exceed the fill stop sensor by more than 10mm.
  2. Low filling speed may cause incorrect sample/diluent mixing or an abnormal number of hazy reports.
