Normally caused by a bad O-ring
- Check pipette bottom, glass must not be chipped.
- Pipette bottom dirty with dried blood.
- Clean pipette bottom
- Check disinfectant flow
- Pipette bottom not straight.
If this happens randomly or with each pipette, check the following.
- Check the condition of the fill nozzle O ring.
- Replace the fill nozzle O ring.
- Fill nozzle scratched, due to incorrect washer replacement.
- Fill nozzle alignment to pipette incorrect.
- Worn out fill nozzle motor.
- Possible too low sample volume during aspiration
