How to handle with samples if the barcode is not read correct ?are not read (Case)

Question:

How to handle samples if the barcode is not read correct ?

Hint:

If there are 5 racks with samples and in 2 of the racks there is a couple of samples that the instrument can’t read the barcode, this can be seen in the rack history

Answer:

When the barcode is not read, the software will put a red flag next to sample tube in the rack. When all the racks are done the software will return automatically to the rack history and will show the last 5 processed racks.

For Starrsed RS:

When there are red flags shown just pick those once and put them in a empty rack and put the rack into the instrument for re-processing.

For Interrliner:

Refill the applicable samples in racks at put them again in the feeding system. The rack numbers can be seen in the software (if this option is activated)

Additional information:

Starrsed RS Rack history, Interrliner Rack history

Applicable for:

Interrliner
Starrsed RS
