Symptom :

Very small air bubbles enter the pipette during aspiration

Hint :

Can be recognized in the pipette as very small zebra crossing on top of blood column

Action:

  • Check the inside of the fill nozzle for contamination on the O-ring.
    • Clean the fill nozzle. (WI-201)
  • The O ring is losing its flexibility.
    • Replace the O ring in the nozzle. (WI-201)
  • Check the diluter system for air bubbles.
    • If air bubbles are in the diluter system, prime diluent.
