Troubleshooting (Vacuum and liquid)
For general trouble shooting, see Vacuum errror
Check in case of E9 Air flow failure:
- The connection between the flow sensor output port and tube
- The three tube connections between the black T-connectors
- The tube connections between the blue filter and the connectors
- The tube connection from the blue filter to the fill block
- The fill block washer
- The fill nozzle itself
- The tube connection from the fill nozzle and the sample tube
- The sample tube at the pinch valve.
- Fill nozzle o-ring
- Pipette v-ring or pipette itself
In case of vacuum errors:
Check the fill nozzle on the O ring. Check if the nozzle is assembled correctly. If needed: Perform flow test and check all 84 numbers. When this is OK and there is still no aspiration, in can be caused by a blockage in the mixing-piece. Check in case of vacuum errors:
- The O-ring in the fill nozzle
- If the nozzle is assembled correctly.
If needed: Perform flow test and check on all 84 numbers.
When this is OK and there is still no aspiration or are still vacuum errors: check other possible causes:
- blockage in the mixing-piece.
- blockage in the fill block washer, clean fill block
- blockage of the vacuum line from flow sensor to the fill block
- blockage of the blue filter, replace filter
- blocked or wrong assembled liquid separator, clean liquid separator
- flow sensor malfunction, replace flow sensor
- blockage in the manifold or manifold lines, check for clogging
- defective vacuum pump, replace pump
Vacuum stabilization errors are usually caused by a leaking system:
- Check sample tube is installed correctly in the sample control pinch valve
- Check the flat washer on the fill block is not damaged
- Check sample tube is not leaking, check at first the fill nozzle connection
- Check the sample control pinch valve is fixed on the steel plate. An O-ring is needed between the steel plate and the body of the solenoid.
- Check the fill nozzle itself is not leaking, see WI 203
