Preparations

  • Check all bottles, demi-water and cleaning bottles filled with corresponding fluids and waste bottle empty
  • Place PVP bottles (only in use for Osmoscan)
  • Check applicable viscosity of PVP (only applicable for Osmoscan)
  • Check the gradient pump tubes by pushing cassettes downwards (fixed with a click and in parallel position)
  • In case of a period of inactivity: Check the functioning of the valves with Hardware check/LoRRca IO/Valves. During toggling ON/OFF each valve. should give a "click". If the pinch valve is sticked, perform a "Prime all"

USE-BY

Always check consumables for “USE-BY” date before starting preparation.

Discard if “USE-BY” date has passed.

Start each day with performing a control sample (containing blood with normal values) before a sample measurement. This control sample gives reference values for the patient samples.
