E14: Needle motor position error! (home)

For Starrsed RS and Interrliner:

Outer needle did not reach the home (top) sensor within a certain time limit.

• Check home (top) sensor.
• Outer needle motor is faulty.
• Outer needle motor driver on needle board is faulty.
• Outer needle is blocked.

For Starrsed TL:

Needle did not reach the home (top) sensor within a certain time limit.

• Check home sensor.
• Needle motor is faulty.
• Needle motor driver on needle board is faulty.
• Needle is blocked.

To prohibit E14 it is possible the spindle has to be greased:

The spindle of the needle assembly has to be greased on regular base during level 1 maintenance or at least checked during level 1 maintenance.
Add ball bearing grease on the whole length of the spindle and move the spindle up- and downwards to grease the whole spindle.

Also the needle holder has to be greased with some Molykote EM-30L or bearing ball grease on regular base.
