Notes:

Operating systems

From 2018 only Windows 10 PC's can be delivered as replacement. Windows XP and Windows 7 PC's are obsolete parts.

The PC's are delivered with version 6 as default, but could locally be downgraded to version 5 if needed.

Monitor/Touchscreen drivers/Resolution

NEC Monitor: can only be used in combination with versions up to 5.x on Windows XP:

screen resolution 1028x768, the NEC monitor is an obsolete part

ELO Monitor: can be used in combination all versions 5.x and 6 on Windows 7/10

screen resolution versions 5: 1028x768, touchscreen driver NEC-17 must be installed

screen resolution versions 6: 1366x768

Software updates

Windows XP PC's can be updated up to Starrsed Software Version 4.02.

Windows 7 PC's, delivered before july 2017:

• can always be updated up to version 5.08.
• can be updated to 5.09 with installing "Language pack All"
• can be updated to 6.00 or higher in combination with an ELO monitor and "Language pack All"

Windows 7 PC's, delivered after june 2017 can be updated up to the latest software in combination with an ELO monitor.

Windows 10 PC's can be updated with software version 6.01 and up.

Every software update is released with a certificate and list of modifications.

Windows 10 PC in combination with NEC screen, only to be used with Version 5.09

Software version 6.x can only be used if an ELO-screen is available, due to resolution restrictions

Language pack and folder structure

For versions up to 5.x a Language update package is available. This package updates the documentation up to the latest applicable manuals and language settings.

For version 6.x language update packages per instrument will be made available.

During delivery period of the instruments, new versions of manuals and more languages can be added to the packages.
