Disk space (FAQ)

Question:

How much disk space is used for storage of patient results ?

Answer:

The hard disk which is used in the Starrsed instruments are formatted in the format 'NTFS', meaning the minimum files size will be 8 Kb.
The size of a patient data record is about 5 Kb.
Depending on the size of the D drive you are able to store 360000Kb /8Kb = 45000 records. That is approx. 5 Mb per 1000 samples (results and raw data)

Applicable for:

Interrliner
Starrsed RS
Starrsed TL
