Repeating Indexer motor timeout (FAQ)

Problem

Error 183 Indexer motor time-out is triggered repeatedly.

Solution:

  1. Check the long rail on which the indexer runs for build-up of grease and dirt.
  2. Clean rail and apply a thin layer of fresh ball bearing grease.

Additional information:

Error 183 could also be caused by:

  • Triggered fuse: replace fuse
  • Faulty indexer motor (EHST040985)
  • Mechanically blocked Indexer
  • Broken wire(s) to indexer
  • Indexer is on the left of the limit sensor, manually push the indexer to the right and clear the error.
