Alignment of the pipettes and measure head

Alignment of the pipettes:

Check if the alignment of the pipettes in the carousel is correct, the pipettes have to make an 90° angle to the plates in the carousel. If the alignment is not correct, adjust this with the set screws in the lowest disk in the carousel and try to adjust the angle to 90° again.

When a large adjustment must be made, also adjust the alignment of the pipette bottom to the nozzle. See nozzle height adjustment, the mentioned calibration disk BANG110023 is supplied in the accessories set. With the older calibration jig (BANG110021), use the jig with the X mark on the thickest spot for correct height adjustment.

Aligment of the measure head:

The measure head can be moved in the slack of the screws, if you loosen the screws in the circle on the picture you can move the measure head slightly forwards or backwards.

To clean the measure head thoroughly, remove the assembly with the circled screws, be careful when removing the measure head, it is connected with the flexible PCB.

You can open the housing with the other 2 screws.
