Fill nozzle drive motor check

After fill nozzle drive motor replacement check the alignment of the fill and rinse nozzle.

• Switch ESR unit ON.
• Turn the belt one position forward. See Menu selection to perform this task.
• Go to Fill nozzle up/down and activate the Fill nozzle assembly to engage Fill nozzle with pipette. The pipette must stay centered in respect to the bottom pipette clamp.
• Go to Rinse nozzle up/down and activate the Rinse nozzle assembly to engage Rinse nozzle with pipette. The pipette must stay centered in respect to the bottom pipette clamp.
• When the alignments are not correct see section Hardware adjustment (nozzle).

The forward / backward alignment needs to be done by loosening one or two hex screws which join the black plastic drive wheel to the main carousel drive shaft. Turn pipette belt and observe the pipette position in the bottom tube clamp. Tighten one or two grub screws on the plastic drive wheel!

Loosen the grub screw at the end of the fill nozzle arm in order to adjust the left, right alignment. Observe the pipette position at the bottom pipette clamp.

Tighten the fill nozzle arm grub screw, the arm must be pushed downwards while tighten the grub screw.
