Chip card system

The Starrsed ST uses a chip card system which makes it possible to employ the instrument either in a pay-per-test scheme or on customer-owner basis. Specific types of chip cards also grant access to specific instruments settings.
A chip card must always be present in the card reader to operate the instrument.

The card reader is located on the left side of the Starrsed ST. Insert the chip card into the card reader with the printed side facing forward. The chip card is correctly inserted when it appears as shown in the picture:
