Pre-installation requirements

Only when pO2 Scan will be used:

Nitrogen gas supply is not part of the delivery. The Lorrca oxygenscan can used with an integrated supply system or on location with a gas cylinder. Only a gas tube connection will be delivered with the instrument for connection between pressure reduction valve and pO2 Scan black tube (the PUN system at 4.0 mm outer diameter)

Low pressure gas tube connection (as included in Lorrca delivery):

To be supplied by customer:

Connection to Laboratory Integrated Gas Supply

or

Local gas supply

(optional) Oxygen meter (for safety reasons)

Laboratory Integrated Dry Nitrogen Gas Supply

Specification

Laboratory dry N2 purge system wall socket connection

  • Flux requirement: gas flow minimal 6 ltr/min, optimal 9 ltr/min
  • Pressure requirement: pressure 0.8- 1.0 bar

Stand-Alone Cylinder Dry Nitrogen Gas Supply

AR-CO2 gas pressure reduction valve / flow regulator

Alwell type EN ISO 2503

  • 1/4" BSP thread connection
  • Safety Valve
  • Shut-off valve
    • Set to 9 ltr/min
    • Output pressure 0.8 -1 bar RU3 compatible.

GasSupply

Follow general requirements with gas connections for installation and use, apply pipe thread compound or gas-rated Teflon tape to the threads on threaded connections before assembling them.

For safety reasons we advice to install an oxygen meter at location.

The instrument can be connected to a N2-supply with use of the parts from the accessory set and advised additional material.
