Reagents replacement

The Starrsed TL is equipped with the genuine Mechatronics bulk reagent cubitainers with level sensors. Each container has a specific position, see Reagent location label.

To replace the bulk reagent cubitainers:

  1. Open cabinet.
  2. Remove level sensors and spacers from the empty cubitainer.
  3. Remove the container screw caps and pull the necks of the bottle packs out of the cardboard box.
  4. Install the level sensors and spacers.
  5. Add new reagent information in the software.

WARNING:
Wrongly placed pickup tubes causes incorrect results or instrument malfunction.
Make sure to place the appropriate level sensors in the containers by checking the colored labels/colored tubes matching the color codes on the containers.

Note:
Deionized water
If the deionized water comes up with an alarm with a filled container, add one or two drops of Starrsed Diluent to the deionized water to avoid reagent alarm.

The solution should be discarded if it becomes turbid.
If the Diluent does become turbid, replace the Diluent container.

After each reagents change, the fluid system must be primed:
