Symptom :

One air bubble rising in pipette

Hint :

Usually this is caused by a wet filling nozzle.

The Westergren pipette has blood right to the base of the pipette. After the aspiration the clearance between blood and bottom is 4...5mm of each Westergren pipette.

1. A dirty fill nozzle may also cause the same problem.
   • Clean the fill nozzle.
2. A dirty Rinse nozzle may also cause the same problem.
   • Clean the Rinse nozzle.
   • Check the disinfectant flow.
3. A dirty fill nozzle cap may also cause the same problem.
   • Clean the fill nozzle cap.
4. Bad fill nozzle engagement with the pipette.
   • Check the fill nozzle alignment.
